Der Opticum HD XTS703 ist ein einfach bedienbarer Combo-Receiver zum Empfang aller freien sowie in Conax verschlüsselten Pay-TV-Angebote via terrestrischer Antenne (DVB-T) und zusätzlich aller freien und in Conax ver-schlüsselten Sender in HDTV- und Standardauflösung via Satellit. Durch den Anschluss einer externen Festplatte wird das Gerät zum vollwertigen Festplattenreceiver und erlaubt somit dem Zuschauer neben verschiedenen Aufnahmefunktionen mehr Flexibilität bei der Gestaltung seines individuellen Fernsehabends.
